HarmonyOS 4 Huawei Watch 4

Huawei began to rollout HarmonyOS 4 beta software for the Huawei Watch 4 series. This new major upgrade brings the exciting new crescent moon window, new interactive watch faces, and other features.

Some of the features in this major upgrade are based on the watch model and required version. Users of the Huawei Watch GT 4 must install the required version to upgrade to the new HarmonyOS 4 beta build. We’ve listed all of the changelogs and version details below.

4.0.0.187 (SP21C00E187R1P188) update rolling out for watches with HarmonyOS version 3.1.0.168 (SP5C00E168R1P170), 3.1.0.186 (SP5C00E186R1P185) including the follow features and optimizations.

  • The new crescent moon window is the same as the mobile live window, and the approaching reminder is visible by raising your wrist
  • New photo album watch face, which can change photo color, time style, functional components, and more
  • Support displaying application names on the chessboard screen
  • Added official preset watch face for astronauts, Shiba Inu, etc.
  • Added interval training mode
  • Added heart rate broadcast function
  • Some watch faces support dual-mode setting synchronization
  • A New Himalayan application is added to the ultra-long battery life mode
  • Optimization of other functional items and experience items.

4.0.0.187 (SP21C00E187R1P188) update released for watches with HarmonyOS version 3.1.0.153(SP4C00E153R1P153) and the following changelog.

  • The new crescent moon window is in the same vein as the mobile live window, and the approaching reminder is visible by raising your wrist
  • New photo album watch face, which can change photo color, time style, functional components, etc.
  • Support displaying application names on the chessboard screen
  • Added official preset watch face for astronauts, Shiba Inu, etc.
  • Added interval training mode
  • Added heart rate broadcast function

  • Support displaying application names on the chessboard screen
  • Added official preset watch face for astronauts, Shiba Inu, etc.
  • Added interval training mode
  • Added heart rate broadcast function
  • Some watch faces support dual-mode setting synchronization
  • A New Himalayan application is added to the ultra-long battery life mode
