Huawei Watch Fit is the first Huawei smartwatch that comes with a rectangular watch frame that looks very attractive and versatile. It’s designed to provide redefined fitness and allows users to try new ways of movements powered by its new smart features.
In March, Huawei unveiled the Watch Fit Elegant Edition, which comes with a premium new stainless steel in Silver and Gold finishing that looks absolutely amazing. Aside from its frame, this smartwatch has White and Midnight Black Fluoroelastomer strap options.
On the other hand, the Watch Fit (regular version) comes with a polymer fiber frame and silicon strap in Graphite Black, Mint Green, Orange, and Sakura pink color options.
New Software Improvements:
To improve its software system, Huawei is now rolling out a new firmware update for the user of Huawei Watch Fit Elegant Edition that installs two new important features for the global users.
According to the changelog, the Watch Fit Elegant Edition receiving a new feature that adds an extra layer of protection on your smartwatch through the lock screen password. With this feature, the user will be required to enter the correct password to access the smartwatch.
The update also adds support for decline an incoming call with a text message. However, this feature is only supported by Android devices and required you to run the Huawei Health app with the latest version.

The latest software update for the Huawei Watch Fit Elegant Edition comes with software version 184.108.40.206 and a software package size of 15.03MB.

How to update the Watch Fit:
Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.
Software update notes:
- For a better user experience, you are advised to update the Huawei Health app to the latest version.
- Keep Bluetooth connected during the update. If the update fails, try again.
- Updating the wearable device may take some time. Please wait for the progress bar on the device to complete. The device will automatically restart after the update is complete.
- Keep your wearable sufficiently charged before initiating the upgrade process.
