Huawei recently started releasing HarmonyOS 4 for the global Huawei Watch 4 Pro smartwatches. This brand-new upgrade enables a host of new features for a better user experience.

In September this year, Huawei announced the Watch 4 Pro’s HarmonyOS 4 beta activity in China. The announcement followed the HarmonyOS 4 beta build rollout. Earlier this month, Huawei also sent a new improvement update for the Huawei Watch 4 series in the home market.

Now, all of the features are ready for Huawei Watch 4 Pro global models. So, what exactly the global Huawei Watch 4 Pro users will experience after installing the HarmonyOS 4 update? Let’s check out the details.

This update adds new Astronaut watch faces, an interactive game that you can play with a tap to control interactions. It also brings interval training mode and heart rate announcement features.

The new heart rate announcement will help to keep track of the heart rate with a custom heart rate scale that you can set to get notified when the heart rate touches the set limit. HarmonyOS 4 will install the training metronome feature, which helps you to get a grip on your training time. The update allows you to import and export routes.

To bring new customizations, the new software version will enable synchronization settings of specific watch faces between standard mode and ultra-long battery life mode. Training voice notifications are getting support for Turkish, Russian, French, Japanese, Malay, and Thai languages.

Talking about the user interface, the app grid display now supports displaying the app name on the screen. Last but not least, the HarmonyOS 4 will improve existing features and user experience for the consumers.

Update Notes:

All of the Huawei Watch 4 Pro users should download the latest Huawei Health app version first from AppGallery in order to get the best upgrade experience. Also, ensure that the watch remains connected to the phone.
