Huawei shipped 142 million smartphones only in China in 2019, 240 million globally

In 2019, Huawei shipped 240 million smartphones units globally, of which the Chinese tech giant shipped 142 million units only in China.

According to the data shown by the market research firm Canalys, Huawei has shipped 142 million units with a 35.5% growth rate and 38.5% market share, compared to 104.8 million units and 26.5% share in 2018.

The company shipped more than 44 million units of Huawei Mate and P series flagship devices with 50% on year increase.

Last year also marks as the introduction of 5G devices and Huawei shipped over 8.9 million 5G smartphones and a total of 78% market share outnumber its rivals.
