HarmonyOS 4

Huawei is pushing new HarmonyOS 4 for its devices in China and this rollout campaign also includes old flagships that have been waiting for a major push. These smartphones and tablets are rejoicing with a whole new user experience.

Past flagships including Huawei P50, Mate 50, Mate 40, and P40 series are part of this mega upgrade carnival. Last year, the company installed HarmonyOS 3 on these devices. Earlier this year, the company added a new layer of optimizations as well as animations for the corresponding models.

Some of these phones are coming from 2019 including the Huawei Mate 30 series. But now, these phones are running ahead of time and Huawei is providing better support to keep them updated.

For old flagships, Huawei is running memory upgrade services as well as spare parts repair programs. These help the customer to upgrade the storage of the smartphones and make them useful for long use cases.

Similarly, HarmonyOS 4 is the newest software from Huawei, and offering it for these devices is a good gesture toward the customers.

For now, Huawei is testing HarmonyOS 4 on various devices including P60, P50, Mate 50, Mate 40, P40, and more. Some of these phones belong to the public beta phase. While the rest comes under closed beta testing.

Therefore, the public beta version devices will reach the stable station first. And others will have to change one more train before stable HarmonyOS 4 platform comes in.

The new upgrade has massive improvements in animations, the brand-new ArkEngine smoothes the graphics and provides optimum interactions with fast response. Talking about interactions, HarmonyOS 4 has a new live window feature, which helps you to stay connected with everything inside the device in a more interesting way. It has improved system security as well as better privacy measures to safe keep your device.

With all of these additions and improvements, Huawei is reviving the old flagships by installing the new HarmonyOS 4 version. However, we would like to see these addition for the global users as soon as possible.
