The Huawei P30 series is the best Huawei flagship up until now, this 2019 device started its HarmonyOS journey with version 2.0 and the company may not upgrade it with HarmonyOS 4.

According to the upgrade schedule for HarmonyOS 4, the Huawei P30 series is not listed for HarmonyOS 4 software upgrade. This indicates that the company may have decided to halt the major software cycle for this lineup.

Huawei P30 series officially unveiled with EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9. It’s also the last Huawei flagship with certified Google Mobile Services (GMS) apps including Play Store.

Later on, the phone received EMUI 10, EMUI 10.1, and EMUI 11, and then the Huawei P30 series users were divided into two directions. In 2021, Huawei announced EMUI 11 for the global units of Huawei P30 and HarmonyOS 2 in China. Last year, Huawei installed HarmonyOS 3 on this P-series on the home ground.

With the announcement of HarmonyOS 4, the Huawei P30 series is hyped with the new features. And want the company to provide one more major upgrade. HarmonyOS 4 comes with brand-new animations, system optimizations, and a lot of personalization.

Is there a possibility of releasing HarmonyOS 4 for the P30 series? Currently, Huawei has not shared a statement on this situation but the rollout carefully mentioned all of the eligible models. Therefore, the outcasting could be confirmed without any official statement.

Huawei P30 Pro equips a 6.57-inch display with an OLED panel and curved design. The screen has a water drop notch on the head to house a selfie camera. This device is powered by Kirin 980 chipset, which is using HiSilicon and is printed by TSMC.

On the rear side, there’s an eye-catching quad-camera system. It includes a 40 MP 27 mm f/1.6 wide-angle main sensor, a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle 16 mm f/2.2 and an 8 MP 5x optical periscope zoom lens, and a ToF lens. The phone has a large battery 4200mAh battery, which could recharge with a fast charger.
