Huawei Pura 70 Series Announced: Confirmed triangular camera, launching soon
Huawei posted an official teaser and announced the Pura 70 series. The company confirmed that the flagship is coming as a rebranded Huawei P70 series which was anticipated in leaks and rumors.
Earlier today, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO, Yu Chengdong said that the P-series flagship brand is renamed as “Pura-Series”. A new phone will launch with the “Pura” philosophy.

The teaser shared by the company highlights a few aspects of this new flagship including its camera system.
The video shows the new triangular camera shape. The lens arrangement is quite similar to the P60 series but the outer layout now matches the placement, creating a triangle with round edges.

Since it’s a teaser, the Chinese tech maker has not shared any direct shot at the phone. But the teaser gave us a few more tips on the upcoming device including the use of the following words:
- Pure
- Style
- Creation
- Classic
More likely, these could be traits of the new Huawei Pura 70 and that triangular camera system reflects more like a play button.
Similar to its predecessors, the Huawei Pura 70 will focus on improved camera and photography user experience. The company will also bring new materials in the rear design. Watch the teaser below.
