Huawei P50 series will come with new camera surprises, development already started
Earlier this year, Huawei launched its latest flagship – Huawei P40 Series and a new report revealed that the company has already started developing the Huawei P50 series.
Recently, Wang Yonggang, Huawei’s P Series Product Manager said that P-series products must go through 18 months of the process from concept design to final launch.
The technologies and solutions used in this phone series determined by major R&D (Research and Development ) centers around the globe. The process initiates one year before entering the production phase (via CNMO).
He said, each generation of P-series products is based on Huawei’s cutting-edge capabilities in R&D and industry partners to achieve a new breakthrough, and there will be more surprises in next year’s Huawei P50.
According to previous launch schedules, Huawei P50 series will unveil in March 2021. By taking an instance of this timeline, the phone’s design and technologies are decided and already entered the development phase.
Huawei P-series is known for its advanced camera system that tops the DXOMARK ranking. The P50 series will continue this legacy and introduce more new camera technologies and features next year to create new milestones in smartphone photography.
Huawei P40 series camera brings flagship photography technologies including 1/1.28 inch ultra vision sensors, RYYB color mapping for low light photography, Leica lenses, XD Fusion image engine and Full Pixel Octa PD AutoFocus for high-speed focus at any time of day.
Wang especially praised the Huawei P40 Pro+, the top-end model of the P40 series that comes with 10X optical zoom, 20X hybrid zoom that can reach up to 100X digital zoom.
This year, Huawei P40 series was launched in three variants and the P50 series won’t be any different and it may launch as Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+.
