Huawei P40 series pre-order starts in New Zealand, bundles free Watch GT 2 and FreeBuds 3

Huawei today has officially launched its latest Huawei P40 and P40 Pro flagship in New Zealand, as its pre-order goes live with a number of gift bundles and cashback.

Huawei P40 and P40 Pro available to purchase in two colors of Frost Silver and Deep Sea Blue. These phones are priced at NZD999 and NZD1499 respectively.

Also, some of the retailers not only offering freebies but they also giving away some price cut compared to each other.

Huawei P40 and P40 Pro:

Display:

Huawei P40 and P40 Pro both of these devices sport 6.1-inch and 6.58-inch OLED display respectively. The P40 has a flat display panel, while the Pro Quad-curve Overflow Display design.

Camera:

The Ultra Vision sensor in the P40 series is Huawei’s largest CMOS sensor to date. Measuring 1/1.28 inches diagonally, it supports pixel binning to achieve a pixel size of 2.44μm and Full Pixel Octa PD AutoFocus for high-speed focus at any time of day, while the Huawei XD Fusion Engine integrates and processes data from multiple cameras to generate a comprehensive improvement in picture quality.

Huawei P40 Pro can zoom up to 5X optical, 10X hybrid, and 50X maximum digital zoom to capture the farthest. Also, it includes an RYYB Color filter array to improve the light intake and quality of the zoom shots.

Also, Huawei P40 Pro provides powerful videography experience powered by 40MP ultra-wide cine camera tagged with  SedecimPixel Fusion technology.

With its quad-camera setup, the Huawei P40 Pro achieved 128 points on the DXOMARK ranking standing on the top of this camera review benchmark.

5G and Wi-Fi 6+:

Huawei P40 and P40 Pro come with all scenario 5G connectivity supplied by Kirin 990 5G chipset and the new Wi-Fi 6 Plus technology boasting peak transmission speed up to 2400Mbps.

Battery:

Huawei P40 packs with a 3800mAh battery and 22.W Huawei SuperCharge. On the other hand, the Huawei P40 Pro has a 4200mAh battery with the support of 40W Huawei SuperCharge and 27W Wireless charging.

Software:

From the software side, this flagship series pre-installs EMUI 10.1 os with a number of new features such as MeeTime calling. Instead of GMS, the phone comes with the Huawei Mobile Services and users can download required apps from AppGallery.
