Huawei has received two awards from the European Image and Sound Association (EISA) for its premium smartphone – Huawei P40 Pro and the smartwatch – Huawei Watch GT 2.
The Huawei P40 Pro received the EISA Smartphone Camera 2020-2021 award. On the other hand, the Huawei Watch GT 2 received the EISA Best SmartWatch 2020-2021 award.
EISA also praised the Huawei P40 Pro as “a true champion in its class,” for its camera capabilities, display technologies, and new design. Applause also held for the Huawei Watch GT 2.
EISA members include expert media across the full spectrum of consumer electronics from 29 countries, and each member contributes to one or more of EISA’s six Expert Groups—namely photography, mobile devices, Hi-Fi, home theatre audio, home theatre display & video, and in-car electronics. Every year, EISA members nominate a list of products that they consider the standout performers in each of these Expert Groups.
“We are thrilled to continue our winning streak with EISA and pleased with the recognition of two of our standout products, the HUAWEI P40 Pro and HUAWEI WATCH GT 2,” said Kevin Ho, President of Handset Business, Huawei Consumer Business Group.
“With every device, Huawei is committed to bringing new and exciting experiences to consumers, from a smartwatch that can push your workout limits with the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 to a smartphone that is breaking boundaries of smartphone photography with the HUAWEI P40 Pro.” Kevin added.
Launched earlier this year, Huawei P40 Pro comes with a new premium design, new quad curved overflow display, and its unmatched quad-camera system.
The camera system of this flagship includes a 50MP Ultra Vision Camera with phase detection auto-focus and optical image stabilization and its 12MP periscope telephoto lens, allowing for 5x optical zoom, to the incredible 40MP Ultra Wide Cine Camera for advanced video capture. To add depth in the photographs, the P40 Pro also equips a ToF 3D depth camera.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 offers different designs according to the consumer and equips an AMOLED display, as well as physical control keys.
This smartwatch can stand up to two weeks of battery and provides 15 types of professional workout modes, and record 85 customized workout types.
For health, The watch has TrueSleep technology, which keeps track of your sleep quality and also monitors your heart rate. Moreover, it has a new SpO2 feature to measure your blood oxygen level.
