Huawei P30 Lite on EMUI 10 getting September 2020 security update in UK

Huawei is sending a new software update for Huawei P30 Lite users in the UK. This update mainly brings the security patch released in September 2020 that improves the system security and provides a better user experience.

Previously, Huawei has denied releasing the EMUI 10.1 major software update for P30 Lite users. But the company made a promise to P30 Lite users to send the monthly security patch that enhances the system security.

Moreover, Huawei P30 Lite users in India already grabbed the October 2020 security patch that fixes 21 high and 1 medium level of CVEs as well as running on EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.331.

HOW TO UPDATE HUAWEI P30 LITE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device
