Huawei officially announce EMUI 12 beta kickoff in Russia

Huawei has officially announced EMUI 12 beta kick-off for global consumers. According to our information, Russia is the first country to receive EMUI 12 beta application for the eligible devices and it’s the first market to announce this testing activity formally.

Huawei Russia has now announced the EMUI 12 beta through its official channels. However, the beta is only available for the P40 series. Unlike any other eligible market, Russian consumers must have had to register their interest in beta using an online form.

The approval will be based on the IMEI number of devices that are required in the approval process. The company has also shared a list of models and required EMUI 11 versions in order to participate in the beta program.

3. Huawei P40 Pro+ (ELS) – EMUI 11.0.0.220/222 (ELS-N39)

Before you sign for the EMUI 12 beta, you should note that the beta software build may contain bugs and issues. Moreover, you can only roll back to the previous EMUI version once the testing concludes. If you are unaware of the changes then we recommend you not participate in the beta activity.

However, this “No Rollback” situation is exclusive to Russian users because they aren’t participating through the Huawei Beta app. Therefore, global consumers will be able to roll back even after upgrading to the latest EMUI 12 beta.
