Huawei has pushed a new software update for the Nova 8 SE 4G that comes with HarmonyOS 2.0 version 18.104.22.168 in China. The new information reveals that the latest update brings March 2022 HarmonyOS security improvements for better system security.
Do you know, what’s required to install the latest HarmonyOS update? Well, the Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G device owners need their device running on HM OS build number 22.214.171.124.
Speaking about the changes, the March 2022 security patch brings fixes for 35 CVEs in which 2 CVEs belong to a framework, 8 CVEs from the system, and the rest of 25 CVEs were resolved in third-party libraries.
As always, this software update is rolling out in batches and take one-two week to reach all Huawei Nova 8 SE devices. We recommend the corresponding device owners grab this update as soon as it arrives because it keeps safe your mobile data and boost overall phone security.
Update via Settings, open the settings menu, and tap on system & updates. Now, scroll down to select the software updates followed by check for updates. Let the phone connect to the server and fetch the latest update for you.
Now, hit the download and install option and wait patiently until the process gets completed automatically. Afterward, the device reboots automatically and it’s done.
Before heading towards the update, make sure that your smartphone should be charged 30% or above and have more than 500MB of free space. Also, once the process started don’t interrupt it and don’t try to operate the phone in the meantime.
