Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition has begun receiving the latest HarmonyOS security patch released in March 2022. It brings fixes for a bunch of exploits and issues found in the HarmonyOS software system to enhance the system’s security.

In detail, the latest March 2022 HarmonyOS security patch resolves 1 CVE in framework, 8 CVEs in the system, and 25 CVEs were fixed in the third-party libraries. These fixes increase the system privacy and protect the device against threats.

New information reveals that the March 2022 patch for Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition landed on the ground with HM OS software version 2.0.0.225. Therefore, the required base HarmonyOS firmware is 2.0.0.223.

Adapting model:

  • Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G Vitality Edition (CND-AN00)

Are you expecting any other changes along with security improvements? I guess yes, but the changelog doesn’t have notable change. After installation of the update, the corresponding device users could experience some minor enhancement.

This software update is rolling out in batches and will take two-three weeks to cover all users. Until then keep checking the software update section and install the update as soon as it arrives on your smartphone.

Let’s see how to check for updates:

Switch ON your smartphone, tap on the settings icon or open the settings from the control panel. Now, tap on the system & updates followed by software updates. From here, click on the check for updates and wait for a minute while the phone is connecting to the server and fetching the update for you.
