Huawei Nova 3i receives December security update, closes year without EMUI 10 confirmation

EMUI 10 brings excitement among Huawei smartphone users and the company is sending this version to most of its devices, on the hand, some of them left untouched.

Speaking of untouched smartphones, Huawei Nova 3i is not yet confirmed for the EMUI 10 and Huawei likely to close this year without any news regarding this matter because this smartphone is now receiving the December security update, which indicates that Nova 3i users must have to wait a few more months to get an official statement.

December 2019 security patch brings fixes to 3 critical, 24 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found on Huawei/Honor smartphones. The previous update solved 33 CVE.

Huawei Nova 3i getting the latest security update with EMUI version 9.1.0.267 with 132MB and still expanding.

To be noted, this is a back to back security update followed by the November patch last month. Since the phone is scheduled for the quarterly security updates cycle, we still have to find out why Huawei updating it continuously.
