Huawei has started sending the July 2022 optimization update for the MatePad Pro 10.8 tablet users. The latest firmware is appearing in the home ground with the HarmonyOS version, upgraded from the build.

While exploring the changelog, we didn’t find any new addition or specific changes to the system. However, users will notice better stability and a boost in the performance level, after processing the latest HarmonyOS version to their respective devices.

The new July 2022 HarmonyOS update for Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 is compatible with specific models. Hence, if you carry any of the below-mentioned devices, then you are eligible for obtaining this mini update.

How to install the new firmware?

Although, the update is roaming in the region via the OTA procedure. Yet if you’re least interested in waiting, then you can opt for any of the given methods for installing the update manually.

Via Settings:

  • Go to the Settings menu
  • Select the System & Updates option
  • Choose Software Updates
  • Tap on Check for Updates
  • Wait for the device to complete the search
  • Hit the Download & Install tab

Via My Huawei App

  • Open the My Huawei App on your devices
  • Go to the Updates section
  • Follow the on-screen prompts carefully
  • Install the new firmware
