Huawei MatePad 11 comes with a high-resolution display and allows you to work seamlessly with its operating system – HarmonyOS. However, Huawei wants to continuously upgrade this MatePad 11 with new software capabilities and the December 2021 update is ready to do this work in China.
According to the information, Huawei MatePad 11 has started receiving a December 2021 update that comes with HarmonyOS version 18.104.22.168 software update that comes with a bunch of new features and enhancements for the system.
The changelog of the system reveals that it comes with the first generation Huawei M-Pencil’s global annotation and one-click extra features. These are pretty useful features for maximum productivity.

January 2022 security update available for Huawei Nova 5i and 5i Pro
Huawei has started to rollout the latest January 2022 HarmonyOS security update for Nova 5i and Nova 5i Pro smartphones for improved system security. As it fixes the common vulnerabilities and bugs found in the latest software system.
According to the information, the Huawei Nova 5i and 5i Pro January 2022 update come with upgraded HarmonyOS version 22.214.171.124 from base version 126.96.36.199. So, the models receiving update are:
- Huawei Nova 5i (GLK-AL00)
- Huawei Nova 5i (GLK-TL00)
- Huawei Nova 5i Pro (SPN-AL00)
For all the above-mentioned smartphone owners, it is recommended you upgrade to the latest HarmonyOS version as soon as possible. Because, alongside security improvements, this update also boosts the overall performance of the system.
Furthermore, the January 2022 HarmonyOS security update fixes a total of 130 CVEs in the whole system. Among them, 4 CVE in the framework, 10 CVEs in the system, 5 CVEs in the application, and 111 CVEs resolved in the third-party libraries.
