Huawei Mate 20 series on EMUI 10 gets new update with fixes and November security

Huawei Mate 20 series was one of the first Huawei smartphones that received EMUI 10 that’s based on Android 10.

Following the EMUI 10, these phones are now receiving the latest update that fixes an issue where the screen would display erratically when incoming calls arrived in certain situations and provide the latest security patch (Changelog below).

Versions:

The latest EMUI update for Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS, and Mate 20 X (4G) comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.185 and rolling out in China. We could expect, Huawei to soon send this update for the global versions.

Note: EMUI version and size may vary depending on the region/country.

Fixes an issue where the screen would display erratically when incoming calls arrived in certain situations

Fixes an issue where the dropzone for incoming calls when playing games in landscape mode in certain situations.

[Security]

Installs the November 2019 security patch that brings fixes to 3 critical, 15 high and 1 medium level of vulnerabilities found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.
