EMUI 10.0/Magic UI 3.0 is the latest software version for Huawei and Honor devices built on top of Android 10 and comes with new changes and improvements made to the user interface and enhanced user experience.

Since this is the latest upgrade, it has become usual to ask: “will I get the latest update?“. Well, we have prepared a list of compatible Huawei and Honor devices that are officially confirmed as well as devices that will not receive EMUI 10.

Huawei Nova 7i consumers in the global market have started receiving a new software update that comes EMUI version 10.1.0.372. As it brings system stability improvements as well as new apps including Game Center, and quick download shortcuts for the following apps:

  1. Books
  2. Petal Maps
  3. Celia Keyboard

You just need to tap on the above-mentioned app shortcuts to begin the download process.

Huawei Nova 7i EMUI 12:

Huawei has confirmed that Nova 7i will receive EMUI 12 software update. However, the launch of this rollout is not exactly decided but the company will send this software update somewhere in the first half of 2022.

Huawei Nova 7i Specifications:

Huawei Nova 7i comes with a 6.4-inch display with 2310 x 1080 pixels resolution with 398 PPI and LCD panel. The screen also has a hole punch on the top left corner featuring 16.7 million colors. The phone is powered by Kirin 810 octa-core processor (2 x Cortex-A76 2.27 GHz + 6 x Cortex-A55 1.88 GHz).

The Nova 7i equips 8GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage that goes up to 256GB under expansion. On the camera side, the Nova 7i provides a quad rear camera system consisting of 48 MP (Wide Angle Lens, f/1.8 aperture) + 8 MP (Ultra Wide Angle Lens) + 2 MP (Macro lens) + 2 MP(Bokeh lens). Huawei is rolling out a November 2021 software update for the Nova 5T smartphone that comes with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.190 and an update package size of 209 megabytes. The software is currently reported to rollout in the UK and enhances the system security to safe-keep your smartphone from vulnerabilities.

The update is rolling out in batches so, you may have to wait to get your hands on the software rollout before you can install it on your phone. On the other hand, you can check the following update with the instruction given below.

To download Huawei Nova 5T November 2021 software update, you first need to visit Settings, then System & updates, then open Software updates, following this tap on “CHECK FOR UPDATES”. If a software update is available it’ll pop up on your phone.

EMUI 12:

Huawei has already confirmed EMUI 12 eligibility for the Nova 5T smartphone but currently, the company is only testing the beta build on the Huawei P40 series, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 30 Pro device in the global market. However, more devices will receive this software in the first half of 2022 including the Nova 5T.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro installs November 2021 security update [Global]

Huawei Mate 30 Pro global variant start receiving a new software update that mainly prioritizes the installation of the November 2021 EMUI security patch for improved system security.

As per information, the latest November 2021 update for Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.220 (C432E7R7P4) and brings an update package size of 256MB. Aside from the security patch, this changelog doesn’t have any other changes to show.

The November 2021 security patch fixes 1 critical, 22 high levels, and 8 medium levels of CVEs while there’s no low level of CVEs. This patch also fixes 2 high levels of CVE as well as 8 levels of medium CVEs found in third-party libraries.

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

You can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, tap on the update, then select Check for updates, and then download and install.
