Huawei has already released the stable EMUI 9.1 software update for the Huawei Mate 20 series. Now, the company is rolling out a new EMUI 9.1 software update with few fixes and performance improvements for Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
This update is rolling out for the global version of the smartphone. It added the July 2019 security patch and it fixes the abnormal display of the WiFi icon on the status bar. The shocking point about this update is the size, which is more than 4GB.
Note: The EMUI versions and update size may vary depending on the market and models.
If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction:
Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.
If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App: Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the checkbox and hit Apply.
You can also check the list of the EMUI 10 supported smartphones here. Is your smartphone getting the EMUI 10? What version of EMUI are you using? Let us know in the comments below.
Thanks, Hossam for the tip!
