Huawei has started to rollout December 2021 security update for the Mate 20 Pro smartphone in the global market. This information comes amid the expansion of EMUI 12 beta testing for the device in different countries allow consumers to test this software ahead of the full-fledged release.

According to the information, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro December 2021 security update is rolling out with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.200. Users of the Mate 20 Pro will have to download 251 megabytes of the OTA software package to install the latest software update.

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

You can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
