Wow! Huawei is still sending the new software update for its old smartphone – Huawei Mate 10 Lite running on EMUI 8.0 software. In the latest development, Huawei Mate 10 Lite users are getting the January 2022 EMUI security update as well as new apps.

Huawei Mate 10 Lite January 2022 update comes EMUI 8.0 build version 8.0.0.366 with a download package size of 457 Megabytes. After the installation of this update, the overall security and performance of the system will be enhanced.

According to the changelog, the latest EMUI 8.0.0.366 firmware update installs the January 2022 security improvement. In addition to this, it also adds well-known apps such as Petal Search, Books, Game Center, Browser, and Link Now. That’s it, it also brings quick download shortcuts for popular apps including:

  • Member Center
  • Celia Keyboard
  • AI Voice

  • Install the EMUI security patch released in January 2022 for improved system security

Apps:

  • Adds the following apps: Petal Search, Books, GameCenter, Browser, and Link Now.
  • Adds quick download shortcuts for the following apps: Petal Maps, Member Center, Celia Keyboard, and AI Voice. The apps can be downloaded by tapping the shortcut.

Important points:

  • Maintain enough battery and storage on your device.
  • Your personal data will not be deleted by the update. However, we recommend that you back up important data before updating.
  • If you encounter any problems during the update, call the Huawei customer hotline or visit a Huawei customer service center.
  • The update package will be automatically deleted after the update is complete.

Update Instructions:

To install the update manually, open the  Settings > click on the System> open Software update > tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES option > if an update is available, click on Download and install > after installation, restart the device.

Alternatively, you can download it via My Huawei App – open My Huawei app on your device > go to update section > click on Download and install > after completion of the installation process, reboot the device.
