Huawei multi-purpose Max 66W charger

Huawei is adding a new product to the charger lineup – multi-purpose Max 66W, powered by super fast charging technology. After the 100 and 80W adapters, the company has now introduced a mid-range charging product with useful facilities.

According to the official information, the Huawei multi-purpose Max 66W charger has qualified for China’s UFCS fast protocol certificate and is effectively compatible with PD, PPS, QC, and other sets of rules related to fast charging services.

The latest charger uses an integrated port design with USB-A and USB-C cable support to quickly re-energize different types of devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, headphones, and game consoles, derived from different brands.

Moreover, it supports handsets from HarmonyOS, iOS, Android, and other OS(s). Although it only supports one cable plug-in and pull-out at a time.

Another significant feature is an in-built smart control chip that auto-adjusts the charging power based on the device. This initiative reduces the risk of high temperature and overcharging. Max 66W can monitor the charging status, enables trickle charging mode when the battery level is high, and charges gently.

Charging Time

In terms of the charging timeline, the new adapter takes 30 minutes to level up the battery to 70 percent. You can check the list of devices and their battery percentage below.
