Huawei introduces Qiankun ADS 3.0 smart driving solution

Huawei Qiankun software brand includes a bunch of solutions for smart cars and one of them is the ADS 3.0 (automated driving system). The tech giant has upgraded the respective technology with efficient features and capabilities like never before.

The Chinese tech giant has formed the Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 solution on the 3.0 architecture. It now supports several significant features like an anti-collision system and remote parking which enhance the overall driving experience for users.

Advanced safety and full-scenario connectivity are the two major aspects of the new ADS system. The company has upgraded its traditional ADS from the BEV network to the GOD (General Obstacle Detection) network. Hence it will no longer create a difference for whitelist items.

Using highly precise fusion perception, the ADS 3.0 solution can smartly recognize target obstacles and other subjects to obtain a proficient driving scenario.

CAS 3.0 Facility

All-directional anti-collision system (CAS 3.0) is another significant element in the Qiankun ADS 3.0 solution. From the name, the respective function prevents crossing pedestrians and automatically turns to the left, resulting in immense safety.

This useful feature ensures that your car doesn’t hit with other objects say humans or any other item on the road. In terms of parking, the ADS 3.0 has a remote parking facility which consists of several ways to park your car. These are as follows:

• Special-Shaped turn
• Diagonal
• Customized

With this feature, you can park your smart car when the parking slot is free at a speed of 20% faster than others. It not only saves your time but also protects you from being hit by other cars in the parking area. Next is the ‘Car-and-go’ parking mode which will freely drive the vehicle in the parking space.

Huawei said that it will use the new ADS 3.0 solution in the upcoming car models for a smarter, more secure, as well as more beneficial diving experience for users.
