Petal Map is the navigation and location service app launched by Huawei in order to replace Google Maps in smartphones and supports multiple languages.

It offers mapping tools, positioning services, immersive map displays, place searches, driving navigation, and favorite place lists to drivers in over 140 countries and regions.

Huawei also sent many updates and improvements to the app that make it more competitive with the others. It timely sents a bunch of features and functions to make the driving more enjoyable through app updates.

In this line, Huawei last month released a new update to the Petal Map that has version number 1.7 with new optimizations, which will keep navigating to the driver while using other applications.

In other words, the app will narrate the operator even when he/she switched to a different app. However, it’s inappropriate while driving to do this when it’s not necessary.

Furthermore, it also adds the support for rating and reviewing places on the navigation app that allows users to make hotel bookings while browsing the map. To be specific, Petal Maps now allows users to deliver a straightforward experience for rating places and booking accommodation.

Besides, this update fixes several known bugs and improves the overall user experience for a better user experience.
