Huawei HarmonyOS automobile operating system is redefining the vehicle OS: CITIC Securities

HarmonyOS is a micro-kernel-based operating system, designed by Huawei to deliver a cross-platform user experience across different platforms and smart automobiles are one of them.

The company is also increasing the number of applications for the HarmonyOS in-car software ecosystem, which are in double digits for the instance. Furthermore, we have already seen the work in the previously launched ArcFox Alpha S series, Huawei SERES Smart Selection SF5 model, and GAC Trumpchi smart vehicles.

According to the latest report derived by the CITIC Securities Research, the keenness of automobile operating system getting more and more polished, and Huawei made a great contribution in it.

 

Speaking of smart car systems, most car vendors still prefer QX and Android for their models. However, they have their own shortcomings in terms of security measurements and plainness.

Unlike them, Huawei HarmonyOS excels in safety measurement and received the ASIL-D certification in the industry and redefining the Vehicle OS with new standards. Adding to this, the Huawei HiCar System, which assures the smart, strong, and stable interaction between the car, smartphone, and user.
