Huawei FreeBuds 4 is coming and I’ve been waiting for it but what’s new in these earbuds?

Launched in 2019, Huawei FreeBuds 3 is one of the biggest success for Huawei in the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds product category and it’s the world’s first open-fit earbuds pair that has Active Noise cancellation (ANC).
Huawei FreeBuds 3 has a unique design and comes in beautiful color options, these include Black, White and Red colors.
In terms of technology, the FreeBuds 3 has a built-in bone voice sensor and can pick up your voice without interruption, through bone vibrations to enhance your voice, making the sound quality just as clear as possible.
What we can say about the Aerodynamic Mic Duct Design that suppresses the disturbance of wind passing by to reduce noise efficiently enabling. This works whether you walking, Jogging on a windy day, or even cycling at a speed of 20Km/h.
That symmetrically round shape charging case not only provides beautiful aesthetics but provides the power backup that you need to listen to more songs on the go, requiring you to plug in the earbuds to a charger.
The FreeBuds 3’s Dolphin Bionic Design fits ears more comfortably with its semi-in-ear earbuds shape, FreeBuds 3 gives you more stability.
With all of these specialties and specs, why someone won’t like to get the FreeBuds 3 device that could provide you every feature that is required to hear high-quality audio and calling experience.
Huawei FreeBuds 4:
Huawei keeps bringing new technologies and installs them in new products to make the consumer feel better. In the latest segment of this story, Huawei announced that it’ll launch a new FreeBuds product, Huawei FreeBuds 4 on May 19.
Now, this sounds really cool because we’ve been expecting these earbuds to delay until June and could launch alongside MatePad Pro 2 but the Chinese tech giant has really surprised us.
That’s not it, because Huawei has also shared the promo poster for this launch and confirmed the design specs of this upcoming device.
According to the launch poster, Huawei FreeBuds 4 will have the same semi-in-ear earbuds design as well as the charging case but the company will going to give you extra color options and finishing to enhance the aesthetics of these earbuds.
But… I’ve been wondering what Huawei will offer new this time with these gorgeous-looking earbuds?
According to the information, FreeBuds 3 launched with 15 dB of background noise reduction, which was much enjoyed by the consumers but with the advancement in this technology, Huawei will bring 40 dB of noise-canceling effect, which is a huge difference and improvement between the FreeBuds 4 and its processor.
Noise cancellation is the thing that I want to test in this device because Huawei has significantly improved it with the Huawei FreeBuds Pro
And ANC might not be the only feature that Huawei brings with Huawei FreeBuds 4, while there’s more that may have been waiting for? Let’s wait because the launch event is not far away.

Huawei is calling new FreeBuds 5 a ‘full surface streamline’ design

Huawei FreeBuds 5 is coming and it has a new brand new design, which Huawei is calling full surface streamline design. This design has become a part of Netizens’ conversation with that appearance.
According to the latest retail box leak, Huawei FreeBuds 5 will pack a new full-surface streamline design and we can check this new design in the teaser. We have a ton of information about this upcoming earbuds device including its latest semi-in-ear design that is continuously reaching toward the base.
However, the base is different than the FreeBuds 4 and it sticks over the ear lobule to provide a better grip for the user.
Other than that, past weight measurements also suggest that Huawei FreeBuds 5 as well as its charging box is heavier than the FreeBuds 4. This shows that there could be an improvement in the battery life of the device.
Other than this, the retail box reveals important features such as a super magnetic surge unit, which may be in place for better bass in your ears. Also, it has a fast charger to provide rapid recharge for your music or calling session.
Importantly, the FreeBuds 5 comes with a noise-cancellation feature to provide an uninterrupted listening experience. Once turned off, the earphones can be charged back within 5 minutes, and you can get up to 2 hours of battery life.
The new LDAC codec will also contribute to sound quality. On the flip side, an adaptive environment Noise reduction allows you to choose between two noise reduction modes: Mild and Balanced.
HarmonyOS 3:
The latest Huawei FreeBuds 5 will support HarmonyOS 3 and later versions. Therefore, the consumer can use multi-device features for a seamless use case and audio experience.
For now, we don’t have information about its pricing but we’re just a few days short to raise the curtain from all mysteries.

Huawei FreeBuds 5 specs leaked in live images

Today, a bunch of live images of the upcoming Huawei FreeBuds 5 appeared and revealed the design along with important specifications of these earbuds.
According to live images coming from a Weibo tipster, Huawei FreeBuds 5 will feature a semi-in ear and semi-on ear design.
The image shows what it really means, as the earpiece rests inside the ear and the droplet base provides grip support from outside the ear. The tipster said that these earbuds are firm to wear and there’s no discomfort.
There is also a revelation of the charging box, which is an ellipse and not round like FreeBuds 4. The scale weight measurement shows that one earpiece weighs 5.5 grams, which stands at 4.1 grams in predecessor.
The overall weight of the charging box is 44.4 grams, once again, the weight is increased in comparison to the FreeBuds 4 at 38 grams. This indicates an increased battery backup. As the tipster showcase, these earbuds may run up to 5 hours on a single charge for both earpieces.
This is a ton of settings screenshot that comes in front of us. It shows that Huawei FreeBuds 5 will support adaptive environmental noise reduction and LDAC sound quality. It also equips various customizations option available to change swipe, double tap and hold actions on the earbuds.
LDAC is a new audio technology from Sony that allows you to enjoy high-quality wireless audio via Bluetooth. With 3x the data transmitted, LDAC provides an enhanced wireless listening experience for all your music.
However, it’s surprising for open semi-in-ear earbuds to bring up the noise cancellation tech on board.
