New update released for Huawei FreeBuds 3i, brings wear detection and device compatibility improvements

Huawei has begun sending a new firmware update for Huawei FreeBuds 3i. This update brings new improvements for wear detection and device compatibility to enhance the user’s experience.
Aside from this, it was reported that Huawei is planning to reveal a new true wireless earbud, Huawei FreeBuds 4i. According to the information, the upcoming FreeBuds may be similar to the existing FreeBuds 3i. But it could bring some new touch controls and upgraded features.

Note: This update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time/days to reach your FreeBuds 3i
HOW TO UPDATE FREEBUDS 3I:
- Open the AI Life app.
- Make sure the earphones have been connected to your phone and earphones are placed inside the charging case, leave the charging case open, then select the corresponding card for your earphones to access the device home screen.
- Touch Check for updates.
- If an update is available, touch UPDATE.
- Wait until the update is complete.
- After the update is complete, close the charging case and wait for 10 minutes for the case to be automatically updated.
REMEMBER:
- Please ensure that the battery levels of both the earbuds and the charging case are higher than 30% before updating.
- Put both earbuds into the charging case, keep the case open and press and hold the button on the charging case for more than 10 seconds until the inner indicator light flashes red. Then pair the earbuds with your phone again before charging and updating.
- Before updating, please put both earbuds into the charging case and keep the case open until the update is complete.

Global Honor Magic 4 Pro users are now receiving Android 13 based MagicOS 7.1 major software update. It’s time that the phone users can finally change software from Magic UI to MagicOS. To be mentioned, Honor is directly sending MagicOS 7.1 instead of MagicOS 7.0.
You should know that MagicOS 7.1 comes with all of the software capabilities from Honor Magic 5 Pro. Specifically, Honor Magic 4 Pro users can download Android 13 + MagicOS 7.1 with build version 7.1.0.137 and 3.12GB pcakage size. This is an upgrade from Magic UI 6.0.0.187.

Huawei is rolling out a brand new software update for the global model of the Huawei MatePad SE tablet, it carries new March 2023 optimizations for the device.
Huawei MatePad SE is the newest and most affordable addition for global tablet consumers. It has a 2k Eye Comfort full-view display. This tab brings surround sound tuned by Histen 8.0. The MatePad SE is powered by a 6nm chipset for fast task execution. It weighs only 440 grams.
The tablet runs HarmonyOS 3 out of the box and there are new smart features including a super device, multi-window one interaction, group, and stack widgets, and more.
As the latest software update for Huawei MatePad SE comes with build version 3.0.0.147 and has an update package size of 832 megabytes.

Huawei P40 lite gets March 2023 update with new Device+ addition

Huawei P40 lite is one of the most amazing smartphones to buy and the company is now sending a new software update for this device that brings March 2023 security patches.
You should know that such updates roll out in batches and may take some time to reach the smartphone. However, you are free to check this release manually via Settings. If you have more doubts on this matter, please check the instructions mentioned below.
Huawei P40 Lite comes with a 6.4-inch display and it’s powered by Kirin 810 (7 nm) chipset with Octa-core (2×2.27 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×1.88 GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G52 MP6 GPU.
The phone equips a quad camera system including a 48 MP main camera with f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/2.0″, 0.8µm, PDAF + an 8 MP (ultrawide) with f/2.4 + a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 and a 2 MP f/2.4 aperture depth camera. The phone has a 16 MP front-facing camera with f/2.0, (wide), 1/3.06″.
Looking at the firmware, the March 2023 update for Huawei P40 Lite comes with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.271. You will have to download an update package size of 424 MB. The changelog only says about the security patches but there’s more on this matter that you should know.
Huawei has also installed a new widget to the Device+ feature, which allows you to manage watch and band devices directly from the control panel.
How to update:
To install the latest software update, head towards Settings > from here and tap on System & updates. Now you need to open the Software updates menu and not tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES at the bottom of the screen.
