Huawei EMUI October 2023 Updates List (29/10/2023)

October 22, 2023, Huawei is releasing new EMUI software updates for smartphones, in the meantime, the tech company is expanding the September 2023 software for users.

Huawei has released October 2023 EMUI security patch details for eligible phones and it fixes various security issues for better system security. Other than this, Huawei is also sending EMUI 13 software upgrades for Mate 40 Pro and Nova 10 series. However, more of the users are in line to grab this major release as soon as possible.

But phones such as Huawei Mate 50 Pro and P60 Pro come with pre-built EMUI 13 and EMUI 13.1 respectively. As of October 22, 2023, Huawei has not released plans for the next major software for global smartphones. On the other hand, it is going smoothly with the progress made by HarmonyOS 4. We’ve been expecting the launch of a major upgrade such as EMUI 14 or something else for the global users.

Software update plays an important role in solidifying the user experience and Huawei smartphones are no exception to this theory. Therefore, all users should grab the new firmware once it’s fetched by the phone. • Huawei Nova 9 is receiving EMUI 13 with EMUI version 13.0.0.252.

October 26, 2023:

• Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro getting a new software update with improvements for system stability. The smartwatch could provide a better user experience with this new firmware that comes with HarmonyOS version 3.0.0.103 and a package size of 106 megabytes.

October 25, 2023:

• Huawei P60 Pro users are receiving the October 2023 EMUI security update with EMUI version 13.1.0.178 and it brings a new security patch. However, users are waiting for new major software updates.

October 15, 2023:

• Huawei is expanding EMUI 13 for Huawei Mate 40 Pro in more markets and it brings brand new features for the users. This new rollout is spotted with EMUI version 13.0.0.246 and a download size of 6.18GB (Read more).

October 10, 2023:

• Huawei is pushing a new update for the Huawei P60 Pro smartphone and the build shows version 13.1.0.176, while you will have to download a package size of 366 megabytes. Looking at the changelog, the update package only consists of September 2023 security patches (Read More).

Things to know:

Huawei release software update in batches and it may take some to reach your smartphone. Therefore, you may need to check for the software update manually.
