Today, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO – Yu Chengdong welcomed the launch of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ and Mate X5 foldable phone under the beta test – Pioneer program. Usually, Yu Chengdong publishes such a welcome statement after a press conference and since there’s none this time, the company is stalling these new devices directly online and offline.
In his post on Weibo, the Huawei CEO said: “Thank you for your love for Huawei Mate 60 Pro. Today we welcome Huawei Mate 60 Pro+, a new member of the Pioneer Program. I like many features. Everyone is welcome to explore and experience it together!”.
He also showed gratitude for the Huawei Mate X5 “The strongest folding screen mobile phone depends on Huawei! Welcome another new member of the Pioneer Project, the Huawei Mate X5!”.
What is a pioneer project?
Starting this year, Huawei has launched a program to allow users to buy or experience the phone ahead of its full-fledged unveiling. This means you can get the phone before it launches. It is unclear whether the company will keep it open for the future generation of flagship models.
According to the past schedule, Huawei usually organizes launch events to introduce new smartphones and this time it may not be different. Huawei Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60 Pro+, and Mate X5, all of them await grand conferencing, and so do we.
