Today, Honor has released the latest teaser video of its first foldable flagship – Honor Magic V, which showcases the phone’s design. Just a week ago, Honor has officially confirmed its first foldable phone but has not announced any launch date.
Similar to other smartphone makers, Honor is also ready to enter the foldable phone market soon. This Honor’s first foldable phone can give competition to brands including Huawei, Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi, and more.
The first teaser video of Honor Magic V gives a quick look at the phone’s designs and its folding mechanism. From the video, it is now confirmed that this foldable smartphone adopts the book-like folding design and doesn’t feature a clamshell fold.
The Honor Magic V has a large-screen display and after unfolding, it provides a tablet-like experience. The main screen of the phone has curved edges and is equipped with a center hole punch display design.
Once the phone folds and the internal screen are tightly connected to each other without any gaps. It can also be seen that the rear camera module is slightly raised and the edges are chamfered.

Previous information discloses that Honor’s first folding phone will use the display provided by BOE and Visionox. Also, it is likely to equip with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip because Honor list in few OEM’s to use new SD chipset.
Furthermore, Honor Magic V will sport 8-inch main screen, a 6.5-inch secondary screen, and more. Also, Honor’s CEO claims that the Magic V will be the leading foldable smartphone and available in the market in 2022.
