Honor rolling out a new software update for Honor 30 Youth Edition smartphone

At the moment, EMUI 11 and Magic UI 4 major update is continuously expanding around the world for compatible devices. In the meantime, the company is also releasing other feature and security improvements via new software update for its users.

Now, Honor 30 Youth Edition (Honor 30 Lite) has started receiving a new software update, which added a bunch of features to the system. Apart from this, this changelog doesn’t contain any security patch for device system security.

Latest version: This newly introduced update is identified as Magic UI 3.1 version number 3.1.1.206 upgraded from 3.1.1.204.

Magic UI 4 status (unconfirmed):

Talking about Honor 30 Lite mobile OS, this smartphone initially packs Magic UI 3.1 and still working on the same version. After the launch, the company doesn’t roll out any further major updates for this device.

However, this smartphone is eligible to get Magic UI 4 but the company doesn’t make clear whether it will rollout Magic UI 4 major upgrade for this device or not. Users are waiting for their turn to grab this latest custom OS.

But if they won’t receive the Magic UI 4, this will the biggest disappointment for the Honor 30 Youth Edition users.

Changelog:

  • Added newly added smart information setting item when it is turned on, it can intelligently identify the content of the text message and provide you with more convenient services
  • Added quick download icons for Honor Mall, Honor Club, and Link Now apps

  • The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
    EMUI version and size may vary.
  • Maintain enough battery and storage on your device.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & Updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

On the other hand, Honor Play 4T Pro smartphone users installed a new update that brought the same changelog features for daily life convenience. Read more
