Honor X10 Max smartphone starts receiving a new software update, brings quick download icons

Honor X10 Max smartphone on Magic UI 3.1 has started receiving a new software update. This update added quick download icons for direct use, which saves the users time. Apart from features, it doesn’t install any security improvements.

In the last update, Honor rolled out the security patch released in February 2021 for the Honor X10 Max device. It fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei smartphones including 2 critical, 26 high, and 77 medium levels of CVEs.

On the other hand, Honor is delivering Magic UI 4 major upgrades for its eligible device across the globe and which is going to finish soon. Here’s the question pop-up, what about Honor X10 Max?

The Honor X10 Max is also compatible to run Magic UI 4, but users are in dilemma and waiting for confirmation for a long time. Whether they will get the latest upgrade for X10 Max or not.

Regarding this, Honor has not made the announcement and just like Honor X10, some other eligible device users also want to experience the Magic UI 4 and still waiting for their turn.

New Magic UI version:

  • Added quick download icons for Honor Mall, Honor Club, and Link Now apps

HOW TO INSTALL UPDATE:

VIA SETTINGS:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on System & updates
  3. Tap Software update
  4. Tap Check for Updates
  5. Download and Install
  6. Install and restart your device

ALTERNATIVELY, VIA SUPPORT:

  1. Open the Support app
  2. Go to the Services tab
  3. Tap on Update
  4. Download and Install
  5. Install and restart your phone
