Honor 9A and Honor 9S receiving September 2020 security update

Honor has started releasing a new software update for the Honor 9A and Honor 9S devices. These updates primarily improve system security with patches released in September 2020.

Both of these devices received major optimizations in the recent updates.

Honor 9A and 9S Update Changelog:

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in September 2020 for improved system security.

September 2020 Security Patch Details:

September 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 3 critical and 19 high levels of CVEs.

UPDATED SOFTWARE VERSION:

The latest security improvements for Honor 9A and 9S come with Magic UI 3.1 version 3.1.0.138 and 3.1.0.170 respectively.
