Honor V30 and V30 Pro receiving September 2020 security update

Last month, Honor rollout Magic UI 4/EMUI 11 betas for the Chinese users Honor V30 series alongside Honor 30 series. However, users who purchase this device in Russia, have to wait for a few more

Meanwhile, Honor started sending a new software update for Honor V30/V30 Pro in China. This new update includes the latest Android security patches released in September 2020 that enhance system security and device performance.

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in September 2020 for improved system security.

September 2020 Security Patch Details:

September 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 3 critical and 19 high levels of CVEs.

UPDATED SOFTWARE VERSION:

This latest update for Honor 30 series devices comes with Magic UI 3.1 version 3.1.0.221 upgrading from version 3.1.0.219.
