Honor 20 and View20 on Magic UI 3.1 receiving new security update

Last month, Honor expanded the reach of Magic UI 3.1 in many countries and allowed Honor 20, 20 Pro, and View20 users to experience the latest features and UI changes offered with the new update.

Moving on, Honor View20 and Honor 20 devices on Magic UI 3.1 now receiving a new software update that installs the latest security patches released in August 2020 for better system security.

Security: Integrated Android security patches released in August 2020 for improved system security.

August 2020 Security Patch Details:

August 2020 security update install security patches fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 21 high levels of CVEs.

SOFTWARE VERSION:

August 2020 security update for Honor 20 comes with Magic UI 3.1 version 10.1.0.243 and an update package size of 130MB. While the Honor View20 update comes with 10.1.0.162 and 171MB size.
