Honor 10 Lite receiving VoWiFi feature with February EMUI security update in India

We reported last week that Honor 10 lite will receive the VoWiFi feature with an upcoming update in India and guess what? the update has now finally started to rollout.

According to an Honor Club user, Honor 10 Lite receiving a new EMUI update including February 2020 security improvements and the much-awaited VoWiFi calling feature.

Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) or Wi-Fi Calling, enables users to use smartphones that support VoWiFi to dial numbers to use voice or video calls when a Wi-Fi connection is available.

The February 2020 security comes with Google security patches and fixes 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

One of the critical CVE-2020-0022 AKA BlueFrag is also fixed in this update, which allows silent code execution on the device that leads to data theft and spreading malware.

EMUI VERSIONS:

Honor 10 Lite receiving the VoWiFi and February 2020 security with EMUI version 10.0.0.175 and 0.93GB in software package size.

Other Devices:

Previous information shows that Honor 8X can also receive the update anytime from now and Honor Play will receive the VoWiFi feature with March security update. There could be devices added in the next few months.

Open HiCare/Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES
Click on ‘Download and install

Click on ‘System & updates
Click on ‘Software update

Click on ‘Download and install
