Huawei releases February 2020 EMUI/Magic UI security patch details, fixes Bluetooth security flaw

EMUI 10 expansion is still on the roll but Huawei also releases security patches for its devices and now by moving forward, the company has now released the security details of the February 2020 security patch.

The security updates for Huawei devices include CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) announced in the February 2020 Android security bulletin.

There are issues with the operating system, kernel, and driver updates that may not affect any particular features on the devices but needs to be fixed through monthly updates.

The February 2020 security patch from Huawei fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 20 high levels of CVEs.

One of the critical CVE-2020-0022 AKA BlueFrag was also fixed in this update, which allows silent code execution on the device that leads to data theft and spreading malware.

These new patches with fixes will soon start to reach to Huawei and Honor smartphones via software updates.
