Honor 10 Lite (Youth Edition) receiving April EMUI security along with Screen Sharing feature

Huawei has started rolling out EMUI 10.1 for devices that registered for the beta activity in China. Other devices that are not the part of EMUI 10.1 rollout, now receiving April security.

Honor 10 Youth Edition AKA Honor 10 Lite in China receiving a new EMUI update that brings the April security enhancement along with screen share and display improvements.

Screenshare:

During a call, you can share your screen and doodle on it for both parties to convey messages with each other even more effectively. For example, show your parents how to use their phone by talking to them while operating on your phone. When discussing with your colleagues and customers over a call, you can demonstrate your idea and make notes on the screen.

Display:

Updates Android logo during the boot animation.

Security:

Installs April 2020 EMUI security patches. Fixing 5 critical, 12 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

Honor 10 Youth Edition EMUI version:

The latest update for Honor 10 Lite comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.161 an upgrade from EMUI 10.0.0.151.

Note: This rollout is only for Chinese models.

CHECK FOR THE UPDATE:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on ‘System & updates
  3. Click on ‘Software update
  4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES
  5. Click on ‘Download and install
