Huawei’s ‘GPU Turbo’ technology first unveiled with Honor Play gaming phone, this new so-called technology works as processing collaboration between the GPU and the CPU. The use of GPU acceleration to enhance the system’s smooth running hardware performance.

Huawei announced the “scary technology”, named GPU Turbo. As the name suggests, it can make the mobile phone graphics processing speed significantly improved. GPU Turbo improves the graphics processing efficiency of smartphones by 60%, and the power consumption has also been reduced by 30%.

Later on the showcase of this technology, Huawei announced that its older eligible phone will also receive this technology as an update and presented a complete schedule with rollout dates.
