HarmonyOS 3 second beta rolling out for Huawei Mate X2

Huawei has started seeding the second beta update of HarmonyOS 3 in its foldable Huawei Mate X2. This beta update has brought with it a bunch of new additions to boost the user experience.

However, this testing program is limited to some selected users only. Other users may have to wait for the stable release to get their hands on HarmonyOS 3.

The first beta for Huawei Mate X2 arrived with a different build version that is 3.0.0.105. As of now, the second beta update comes with HarmonyOS 3.0.0.111 build version that is similar to the other devices receiving the beta update.

Compatible models and their model numbers:

  • Huawei Mate X2 (TET-AN00/TET-AN10)
  • Huawei Mate X2 (TET-AN50)
  • Huawei Mate X2 4G (TET-AL00)

After installation of this update, users can test the new additions to enhance the performance of their device. This update brings a new Celia Keyboard with it, this is a self-developed app by Huawei and provides many interesting features to its users.

In addition to this, the keyboard consists of a large number of emojis and supports 170 languages.

More interestingly, this update also incorporates the August 2022 security patches into the system. It aims to improve the security of the overall system and protect the device against threats.

Alongside this, the update also brings a number of optimizations in its Bluetooth and device connections. It further optimizes the stability of the Wi-Fi connection and improves the internet experience.

To download this update via mobile Settings– open Settings < click on the System & updates < open Software update < tap on Check for updates < Click on Download and Install option < restart your device.

We recommend you download the second beta of HarmonyOS 3 in your Huawei Mate X2 as soon as the update reaches you to enjoy the bug-free and smoother performance of your device.
