“New month, new goals” Yes! we have stepped into the new month but Huawei has still not rolled out the August 2022 security patches to some of its devices. The latest flagship smartphone Huawei P50 Pro is getting the August 2022 EMUI update.
Yesterday, Huawei released the August 2022 update in China, and today the corresponding device owners are getting the latest EMUI update in Europe.
The August 2022 update only focuses on improving the system’s security by integrating the security patches. Moreover, the latest firmware update protects the system completely from threats and malicious activities.
The changelog also reveals that there are no new changes found in addition to the smartphone. Yet, we recommend you download the update to experience the bug-free system with more protection capacity.
The August 2022 security update is coming on the surface with the EMUI 12 version 184.108.40.2066 (C432E3R4P1). To be mentioned, the package size of the update is quite significant that is 417 MB.
Before moving forward with the installation of the update, users must keep their phones sufficiently charged. Alongside this, the users are required to manage sufficient storage space in their smartphones.
The phone might overheat, and consume more power after installation but it will return to its normal condition after some days.
How to update:
The update can be downloaded manually through the Settings menu on your smartphone. Visit the Settings menu, and select the System & updates option. Thereafter, select the Software updates section and Click on the CHECK FOR UPDATES button.
Wait for some time, while the device will search for the new update. Download and Install the update if available. Then, restart your phone in order to experience an efficient internal system.
Huawei might expand this update to more regions. On the other side, we can also expect that the company will send the September 2022 update directly to the P50 Pro users. For this, we need to wait for the company to release its latest September 2022 patch.
