Global Huawei P50 Pocket grabs August 2022 update
Huawei P50 Pocket is now receiving the August 2022 EMUI update for improved security of the system. This update also enhances the protection capabilities of the system’s security.
The new information from Huawei reveals that the August 2022 firmware update for Huawei P50 Pocket comes with the EMUI 12.0.1206 version. Furthermore, the update holds a package size of 430 Megabytes.
The latest update installs the security patches released in August 2022 to improve the security of the system and to bring a smoother software experience to its users.
While looking at the changelog we haven’t found any new changes apart from the security patches. However, we advise you to install this new EMUI version if you haven’t already to taste the enhancements in the system.
To update your Huawei P50 Pocket, you need to tap on Settings > from here tap on System & updates and then head towards Software update from here you can CHECK FOR UPDATES, if available then tap on Download and install option.
Besides, the update can also be downloaded from the “My Huawei”app. Open the My Huawei app on your smartphone. Go to the Updates section then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.

Huawei Nova Y70 is running EMUI 12 software update and the company is working on the next major software upgrade for the smartphone. However, there’s no confirmation available about the EMUI 13 beta for this device.
