EMUI 13.1

We have big hope for EMUI 13.1 and a recent leak of a screenshot confirms that this software is coming packed with the Huawei P60 series on May 9th for global consumers.

The screenshot is captured from the about phone section of the Huawei P60 Pro. It contains the model number “MNA-LX9” and the EMUI version. Other information shows that the phone has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset similar to the Chinese version.

The screenshot confirms our previous report on EMUI 13.1. It will help Huawei P60 Pro to provide a better user experience for global customers. Meanwhile, you should know that the Chinese version of this model runs HarmonyOS 3.1, which has originated all of the new features for the EMUI build.

Old users?

This is an interesting question because EMUI 13 test is already running late. Therefore, we also want Huawei to release EMUI 13.1 for all of the users instead of sending EMUI 13.0. In some cases, the company could end support by providing EMUI 13.0 but it should deliver EMUI 13.1 for recently released flagship devices.

In either case, Huawei should conduct a fast release because users already had a long time of installation of EMUI 12 onboard. Now it’s time to get something new.

EMUI 13.1 features:

As compared to EMUI 13.0, Huawei has improved the animations part of the software. These additions to the user experience made it more fluent and smooth than before. Also, the company has added new tweaks to the app’s icons and made them slightly rounder for better touch response.

Furthermore, you will see two new changes to the camera application. First is the zoom ring dial for telephoto operations. The new feature sits right beneath the shutter button and it consists of the quick settings menu, which helps in order to take photographs.

These new capabilities are alluring for the Huawei smartphone owners and a fast OTA update will be appreciated.
