Yes, HarmonyOS 4 is scheduled to launch next year and it possibly is arriving at HDC 2023. For the time being, Huawei has launched HarmonyOS 3.1 for your smartphones.
According to the information, HarmonyOS 3.1 early adopter version supports Harmony Development Kit and the SDK has fully upgraded ArkTS for declarative application development. It supports 10000+ ArkTS APIS for better app development.
Also, the HarmonyOS 3.1 SDK has also been upgraded, as the HarmonyOS 3 was based on OpenHarmonyOS 3.1 with API 8, while the HarmonyOS 3.1 is launched with OpenHarmony 3.2 and API version 9.
As for now, Huawei has not released any details about the features and capabilities of this upcoming HarmonyOS version but there are some exclusive details that you can now grab in hand.
