Huawei is an innovative firm that drives technologies that benefits consumers. At HDC 2022, Huawei launched HarmonyOS-powered technology to help visually impaired people.

According to the information, there are two things that you need to know about these new technologies. First –  Open computing and visual capabilities help visually impaired people “see” the world. Second – Open natural language interaction capabilities to help hearing-impaired people “listen” to the world.

To be mentioned, it’s not possible to be done by improving your natural hearing or vision capabilities, instead, the device will work to provide an environment suitable to support the vision and hearing capabilities.

For example, Huawei’s latest sign language service is fully capable of showing you the real-time translation of someone’s speech. And today’s HDC 2022 event has also been broadcasted with the same sign language broadcaster online.

On the other side, visually impaired people can read on-screen content via voice narrator tools specially crafted and developed for such use cases.

Huawei is currently promoting these techs for the developers and is capable of integrating them among different third-party applications.

Most of Deng Li's smartphones are from the Huawei ecosystem and his first Huawei phone was Ascend Mate 2 (4G). As a tech enthusiast, he keeps exploring new technologies and inspects them closely. Apart from the technology world, he takes care of his garden.
