Battleground Mobile India: Latest News, Leaks, Launch Date, Gameplay Features and more

Last September, PUBG Mobile a Battle Royale game was banned in India and the reason was national security concerns. It was the most popular multiplayer mobile game and its ban disappointed many PUBG mobile players.

Now, PUBG Mobile is once again entering the Indian game market with the new name Battlegrounds Mobile India, as it’s now announced by Krafton, the South Korean video game developer on May 6 alongside a brand new logo with the new branding. Also, there’s no mention of Tencent games in this production.

This time Krafton claims that the upcoming Battleground Mobile complying with all the Indian government rules and regulations for legal entry in the country. Additionally, the developer reveals some information about the upcoming battle game but the official launch date is still unconfirmed.

Krafton provided official information:

1. This game will be only available to Indian players and will have a specific pre-registration before its launch.

2. The personal information of players will be stored and processed on servers located in India and Singapore.

3. Under 18 years players will not be able to play the battle royale game for more than 3 hours a day. Otherwise, players need to pay an INR 7000 fine.

4. Battleground Mobile India’s upcoming Esport ecosystem should give a huge boost to the Indian Esports scene,  which has been dead for the past nine months.

5. With a high prize pool, the tournaments should provide a broader platform for PUBG Mobile Esports players.

6. The game will offer a world-class AAA multiplayer gaming experience on mobile. It will release with exclusive in-game events like outfits and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues.

7. The game will launch as a free-to-play experience on mobile devices.

Battleground Mobile India launch date (expected):

According to the latest news, PUBG Mobile caster and influencer revealed that Battlegrounds Mobile India could be made available by June. However, there’s no official confirmation available on this matter at the moment.
