Avatar reaction feature for WhatsApp status is coming

WhatsApp may soon bring you a new status reaction feature using avatar. Meta is testing this new feature for Android devices and is currently under development under beta mode. WhatsApp is introducing this unique new functionality for users to express themselves better on a contact status.

In the recent Android beta version 2.23.18.9, WhatsApp has added a new avatar section beside emojis. Users can tap on the given avatar to react with the respective Avatar on a WhatsApp status.

Allowing users to send avatar reactions would provide a separate experience from emojis. The Avatar reaction feature for WhatsApp status is limited to some users and may be available with future application builds.
