WhatsApp is rolling out add member feature for community in beta

WhatsApp is rolling out a new add-member permission for the WhatsApp community. This new feature is released for the Android 2.23.18.20 version.

This new feature will allow community admins to decide who can add members to the community. The default option restricts this action to community admins, providing them with the exclusive ability to directly add members.

WhatsApp Feature

There may be certain situations where community admins can allow all of the members to enable everyone to add other WhatsApp users.

Currently, this feature is available only for the beta testers. Interested users can tune into the Android beta testing program to fetch the latest features.
