AITO M7 SUV exceeds 90,000 units in 64 days of launch




AITO M7 continues to make new sales records and today, the carmaker announced that this new smart SUV with Huawei ADS solution has exceeded 90,000 units in sales.

AITO is a collaborative smart car brand by Huawei and SERES. The new model – M7 has collected this new sales milestone within 64 days of launch.

According to the current records, AITO shipped over 120,000 AITO M5 cars, and over 30,000 pre-orders have been placed for the upcoming large-size AITO M9 SUV. As revealed previously, the new Luxeed S7 also acquired 5,000 pre-orders in the first two days of launch.

Yu Chengdong, Chairman of Huawei’s Automotive Division said a few days ago that Huawei helps partner car makers to achieve business success. He also emphasized that this is a “win-win” situation for all of the smart electric car makers.

Although Huawei has already denied making cars by itself, the company is keen on selling smart car parts to partners and promoting its newly launched vehicles throughout its large retail stores throughout China.
